BHB breaks 5-day losing streak

Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse closed Thursday’s session in the green zone, ending a five-day losing streak.

The index grew by 0.17% or 2.01 points to the level of 1,160.34 points.

Trading volume reached 1.91 million shares exchanged at BHD 344,510. The market capitalization amounted to BHD 18.49 billion.

The services sector advanced 0.34% as Nass and Batelco rose by 0.83% and 0.67% respectively.

The banks sector advanced 0.25% as National Bank of Bahrain topped gainers with a growth of 1.37%.

Seef Properties made the biggest trading activity with 435,850 traded shares, while Ahli United Bank made the highest liquidity of BHD 182,720.
