Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Monday’s trading session up 0.3%, gaining 4.16 points, and closing at the level of 1,382.71 points.
The banks sector rose 1.06%, as the National Bank of Bahrain led the session’s gainers and surged 4.62%, while Ahli United Bank increased by 0.59%.
The industrial sector index also added 1.05% on the back of Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) which went up by 1.09%.
On the other hand, insurance lost 1.56%, as Bahrain National Holding fell 4.76%.
Similarly, the investment sector declined by 0.94% as United Gulf Bank was today’s biggest loser and dropped 6.25%.
The services sector also decreased by 0.24%, as Bahrain Cinema went down by 3.7%.
Traded volumes reached 3.29 million shares down from 12.68 million shares yesterday, while traded values shrunk to BHD 1.08 million compared to BHD 2.3 million on Sunday.
