BHB closes Sunday in green zone

Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended the first session of the week 1.58% or 21.38 points higher at 1,374.74 points.

BHB’s liquidity increased to about BHD 909,570 from nearly BHD 666,610 on Thursday, after 4.13 million shares were exchanged.

The banks and services sectors gained 3.22% and 0.21%, respectively.

BBK rose by 5.03%, followed by AUB and Ithmaar which gained 4.86% and 2.86%, respectively.

Nass Corporation and Seef Properties levelled up by 1.49% and 0.89%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the industrial segment was the only decliner with 0.45%, dragged by Alba which lost 0.46%.
