Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Sunday’s trading session 0.71% or 9.31 points higher at 1,319.35 points.
The industrial segment rose 7.24%, on the back of Alba which gained 7.46%.
The investment sector went up 0.47%, in line with the 1.7% growth of GFH.
Meanwhile, the banks segment was the only decliner with 0.07%, dragged by Al Salam which lost 2.11%.
The market’s trading value increased to BHD 1.54 million on Sunday from about BHD 252,150 in the previous session after 6.73 million shares were exchanged from 1 million.
