Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Thursday’s close by 0.71% or 8.09 points to the level of 1,150 points.
Trading volume reached 2.55 million shares exchanged at BHD 437,080.
The investments sector was the best performer after rising by 1.38% as GFH grew 8.77% and Al Baraka Group leapt 1.05%.
The industrial sector also advanced 1.31%, backed by a 1.37% increase in Alba.
The banks sector grew 0.45% as Bahrain Islamic Bank and Ahli United Bank rose 2.22% and 0.79% respectively.
