Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) retreated by 1.76% or 24.28 points to close Thursday at 1,355.99 points.
The banks sector dropped 4.04% to be the top decliner, dragged by BBK which lost 8.08%.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment gained 2.46%, on the back of Alba which leveled up 2.55%.
The market’s liquidity increased to BHD 1.12 million, and the trading volume grew to 4.23 million shares.
Seef Properties was the most active stock on which 1.73 million shares were exchanged.
Alba recorded the highest turnover of about BHD 385,860.
