Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Wednesday’s trading session 0.2% or 2.71 points higher at 1,380.27 points.
The industrial sector gained 2.53%, on the back of Alba which rose 2.62%.
Meanwhile, the banks segment went down 0.21%, dragged by Al Salam which lost 0.99%.
BHB’s trading value increased to nearly BHD 900,870 after trading volume grew to 3.14 million shares.
Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait was the most active stock on which 1.09 million shares were traded at a value of about BHD 436,710.
