Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Wednesday’s trading session 0.43% or 5.72 points lower at 1,311.70 points.
The banks segment retreated 0.15%, dragged by Al Salam Bank which lost 2.13%.
The services sector lost 0.35%, in line with the 0.83% decline of Batelco.
BHB’s investment segment dropped 1.16%, dragged by GFH which fell 4.13%.
The market’s turnover decreased to nearly BHD 541,620 on Wednesday from around BHD 941,100 in the previous session, after 3.21 million shares were exchanged compared to 5.13 million.
