Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Tuesday’s session with a growth of 0.23% or 2.66 points to the level of 1,138.48 points.
Trading volume rose to 3.89 million shares from 2.1 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also leapt to BHD 516,000 from BHD 420,850.
The banking sector grew 0.11% as Ithmaar Bank topped gainers by adding 8.33%. The stock made the biggest trading volume activity with 966,560 shares.
Al Salam Bank and National Bank of Bahrain, however, declined by 1.11% and 0.71% respectively.
The investment sector rose 0.75%, supported by an increase of 6.12% in GFH. Esterad Investment led decliners with a fall of 1.58%.
Ahli United Bank made the highest liquidity of BHD 498,960.
