BHB continues declining performance

The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) continued it downward trend for the fourth session in a rose, dragged down by the services and investment sectors.

The index fell by 0.67% or 8.13 points to close at 1,201.62 points on Thursday.

Turnover stood at about BHD 155,720 as 1.01 million shares were exchanged through 33 transactions.

Meanwhile, market cap amounted to BHD 7.13 billion ($18.77 billion). 

The industrial sector topped the decliners by 2.6%, as Alba fell by 2.7%. The investment sector leveled 0.6% down, dragged by GFH which lost 9.6%.

AUB recorded the largest liquidity of $34,000 as 50,000 shares were traded. The stock inched down 0.7%.
