Mubahser: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) lost 1.7% or 20.5 points to close at 1,175.76 points on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Islamic index grew 0.23% to 775.77 points.
The Bahraini bourse did not follow suit of rebounding neighboring markets as it fell because of profit-taking on AUB and Alba stocks, said capital market analyst Faisal Boushahri.
Liquidity increased to about BHD 279,880 as trading volume rose to 1.11 million shares.
However, market cap decreased to BHD 6.9 billion or $18.05 billion.
The commercial banks fell 3.6% as AUB retreated by 4.5%.
The industrial sector fell by 1.7% as Alba lost 0.56%. Meanwhile, the hotels and services sectors gained 0.15% and 0.14% respectively.
Nass was the most active stock as about $35,400 was generated from trading in about 300,000 shares. The stock levelled up by 2.6%.
