Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Wednesday’s session 0.27% or 3.54 points higher, reaching 1,336.53 points.
The industrial sector was the only gainer with a rise of 9.21%, on the back of Alba which jumped 9.62%.
Meanwhile, the banks segment led three decliners with a fall of 0.42%, dragged by Ithmaar Holding which lost 9.09%.
BHB’s turnover increased to BHD 1.88 million, as trading volume grew to total 7.99 million shares.
Alba was the most active stock on which 3.4 million shares were traded at a value of BHD 1.13 million.
