Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) edged up 0.06% or 0.82 points to reach 1,310.86 points in the week ended Thursday, 6 July.
The industrial sector gained 6.4%, backed by Aluminum Bahrain (Alba), which rose 6.6%, supporting the index’s rise.
On the flipside, the investment sector went down 0.82%, dragged by GFH Financial Group’s share, which lost 3.33%.
Trading volume rose to 20.8 million shares, worth a value of BHD 4.25 million over the week, compared to 2.04 million shares and BHD 542.12 million in the previous week.
