BHB falls 0.43% at close on Investment, industrial stocks

Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse declined 0.43% or 4.94 points at by the end of Wednesday’s session, reaching the level of 1,138.87 points.

Trading volume decreased to 852,020 shares from 1.5 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also shrank to BHD 268,150 from BHD 289,200.

The investment sector declined 1.98% as United Gulf Bank topped losers with a fall of 10%, and Al Baraka fell 1.04%.

The industrial sector also dropped 0.66% due to a 0.69% decrease in Alba, the services sector retreated 0.17%.

The banks sector rose alone by 0.28% as Bahrain Islamic Bank led the green list by adding 9.57%.

Ithmaar Bank made the biggest trading volume activity of 200,000 shares, while Bahrain Commercial Facilities made the highest liquidity of BHD 66,500.
