Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) declined in Monday’s mid trading by 0.11% or 1.25 point to the level of 1,148.75 points.
The bourse was suspended its trading activity on Sunday on the occasion of the New Hijri Year Holiday.
Trading volume reached 1.47 million shares exchanged through 23 transactions by 11:20am Manama time, making a turnover of BHD 211,709.
The industrial sector shrank 1.29% as Alba dropped 1.35%.
The banks sector fell 0.13% due to a 1.17% decrease in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait.
On the other hand, the insurance and investments sectors rose by 0.13% for each.
Ithmaar Bank led the trading activity with a volume of 1.10 million shares exchanged at BHD 132,000.
