Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) gained 1% or 13.06 points to end Wednesday at 1,321.55 points.
The banks sector topped the gainers with 1.59% on the back of Khaleeji Commercial, Ithmaar Holding, and AUB which levelled up by 10%, 5%, and 2.07% respectively.
The investment bank rose by 0.58% in line with the rise of GFH which grew by 2.67%.
Trading value amounted to BHD 1.22 million after trading volume increased to 4.52 million shares.
AUB acquired 1.92 million of the overall traded shares, at a value of BHD 1.40 million.
