Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) edged up 0.09% or 1.25 points to end Wednesday’s session at 1,367.03 points.
The investment sector topped gainers with 1.41% on the back of United Gulf Bank which gained 9.71% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment fell by 4.57%, dragged by Alba which lost 4.74%.
BHB’s turnover increased to BHD 2.49 million, after trading volume grew to 8.16 million shares.
Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait was the most active stock on which 3.79 million shares were traded at a value of BHD 1.51 million.
