BHB in red zone at Thursday’s close

Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Thursday’s trading session in decline after falling by 0.24% or 3.21 points to close at 1,306.83 points.

The banks sector levelled down by 0.55%, dragged by Khaleeji Commercial Bank which lost 7.77% to be the top loser in line with the disclosure of its financial statements.

Inovest Bank lost 1.8%, while the investment sector, in which the bank is listed, gained 0.01% on the back of Bahrain Facilities which gained 0.75%.

Alba gained 0.72% to back the industrial sector which rose by 0.69%.

Trading value increased to about BHD 620,870 as trading volume grew to 3.28 million shares.

Inovest was the most active stock on which 1.2 million shares were traded. 

AUB recorded the highest  liquidity that totaled about BHD 653,540.
