Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Wednesday’s session 0.41% or 5.51 points lower, closing at 1,344.16 points.
The banks segment went down 0.84%, dragged by Ithmaar Holding which lost 5.13%.
BHB’s services sector fell 0.72% in line with the 10% drop of Nass, which was the top loser.
Meanwhile, the investment segment was the only gainer with 0.39%, on the back of GFH which rose by 1.3% to be the top winner.
Liquidity increased to around BHD 978,670 as trading volume shrank to 3.98 million shares.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 1.34 million shares were traded.
GFH achieved the highest turnover of nearly BHD 509,500.
