Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse’s (BHB) general index went down by 14.59 points, or 0.9%, to 1,533.09 points in August.
National Bank of Bahrain lost 1.9% and Ahli United Bank – Bahrain declined by 1.8%, while APM Terminals Bahrain and Bahrain and Kuwait Bank rose by 1.7% each.
Trading volume reached 55.9 million shares over the month, while liquidity amounted to BHD 11.67 million.
