Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Monday’s trading session 0.08% or 1.05 points lower at 1,322.3 points.
The hotels and tourism sector retreated 2.41%, dragged by Gulf Hotels which lost 3.7% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment was the only gainer with 0.45%, backed by Alba which levelled up 0.46%.
The market’s liquidity rose to about BHD 908,510 on Monday from nearly BHD 279,530 in the previous session after the trading volume grew to 3.08 million shares from nearly 698,320.
ABC was the most active stock on which 1.41 million shares were traded at a value of about BHD 421,500.
