Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Thursday’s trading session higher.
The index edged up 0.2% or 2.7 points to close at 1,323.47 points.
The market’s trading value decreased to about BHD 388,740 from nearly BHD 507,610 in the previous session after the trading volume grew to 1.39 million shares from 1.07 million.
The industrial segment topped gainers with 1.37%, backed by Alba which rose 1.4%.
The insurance sector gained 0.77%, in line with the 2.88% rise of National Insurance which was the top winner.
