Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse (BHB) saw a positive performance in Tuesday’s early trades, backed by the rise of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) and Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco).
The main index rose 0.18% or 2.02 points to reach 1,137.33 points by 9:50am Bahrain time.
BBK advanced 2.22%, while Batelco went up 0.68%.
The market saw trading of 406,124 shares through 10 transactions, with a turnover of BHD 46,360.
Al Salam Bank – Bahrain, which rose to BHD 0.091, was the value leader after generating BHD 24,930 from the exchange of 273,960 shares.
