Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Monday’s session on a positive mote as its main index grew by 0.22% or 2.55 points to the level of 1,139.64 points.
Trading volume rose to 1.77 million shares from 988,300 shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also increased to BHD 293,380 from BHD 220,740.
The banks sector leapt 0.82%, backed by a 4.6% rise in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait.
The industrial sector advanced 0.68% as Alba grew 0.71%.
Ahli United Bank led the trading activity with a volume of 131,580 exchanged at BHD 204,720.
