Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse index ended Wednesday’s session in green supported by banking and investment sectors.
Bahrain’s main index rose by 0.17% or 1.94 points to 1,172.63 points.
A total of 2.32 million shares were traded today at BHD288,322 compared to 1.184 million shares traded yesterday at BHD261,800.
Commercial banking sector headed rises by 1.07%, through Ithmaar Bank and AUB that rose by 10% and 1.47% in a row.
The investment sector inched up by 0.84% backed by GFH which increased by 8.82% and Al Baraka Banking that rose by 0.89%.
The services sector grew by 0.13% due to SeeF Properties rise by 2.07%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector fell by 8.2%, pressured by Alba decline by 8.54%.
