Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) started Thursday in the green zone on the back of the banks sector.
BHB’s main index edged up 0.44% or 5.07 points to reach 1,150.60 points by 10am Manama time.
The banks sector inched up 0.9%, in line with the rise of Ithmaar Bank which gained 9.5%. AUB and NBB also rose by 0.8% and 0.7% respectively.
BHB’s trading value reached about KWD 285,670 after 1.43 million shares through 14 transactions.
