Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s (BHB) main index fell during mid-session on Tuesday, hurt by losses of the investment and banking sectors that outweighed gains from services.
The benchmark All Share Index declined by 0.84% or 9.89 points to 1162.45 points at 12:00 pm Bahrain time.
A total of 1.529 million shares were traded at BHD 529,933.
The stock of Arab Banking Corporation retreated 9.38%, leading the investment sector to fall 2.67%.
The banking sector inched down by 0.55% after National Bank of Bahrain declined by 2.99%, and Gulf Commercial Bank rose by 1.72%.
The services sector climbed 0.76% helped by Bahrain Cinema as it went up 6.36%.
