Bahrain Bourse has reversed its positive performance to close in the red zone on Monday, as the benchmark index inched up 0.32% or 3.9 points to close at 1,232.57 points.
Bahrain Islamic Bank fell by 0.67% to reach 806.3 points as compared to 811.71 points on Sunday.
Today’s turnover amounted to about BHD 337,810 ($880,490), as trading volume stood at 3 million shares that were traded through 90 transactions.
BHB’s market capitalisation gained BHD 20 million to reach BHD 7.28 billion as compared to BHD 7.26 billion.
The commercial banks sector topped the gainers by 0.75%, backed by Khaleeji Commercial Bank which grew 3.23%.
The investment sector inched up 0.2%, as Bahrain Commercial Facilities gained 1.46%.
The industrial sector lost 0.67%, dragged by Alba which fell by 0.53%.
