Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose 1.35% or 15.41 points to stand at 1,160.94 points on Thursday, backed by the industry, investment and banks sectors.
Traded volume reached 7.061 million shares traded at a value of BHD 1.02 million, recording the biggest daily pace since May.
The industry sector gained 3.8%, supported by Aluminium Bahrain Company (Alba) which increased 3.97%.
The investment sector also added 1.68%, after GFH Financial Group hiked 9.21%.
Moreover, the banks sector grew 1.54%, backed by Ithmaar bank, Bahrain Islamic Bank and National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) which advanced 9.52%, 4.63% and 0.71%, respectively.
On the other hand, the service sector shed 0.56%, affected by Zain Bahrain and Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) which decreased 7.69% and 0.7%, respectively.
