Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse gained 1.8% or 21.63 points in a week to close at 1,220.45 points.
The market gains were triggered by the gains of four main market sectors, topped by the industrial sector that added 6.37%.
The banking sector came in the second place as it added 2.94%, followed by the services sector and the hotels sector that went up by 0.39% and 0.3% respectively.
Khaleeji Commercial Bank topped this week trading values followed by Al Ahlia Insurance.
The market witnessed 228.44 million shares changed hands this week worth BHD 25 million.
Out of 23 stocks traded this week, advancers outnumbered decliners by 13 to 5.
