Mubasher - Cairo: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse ended Sunday’s trading session on a 0.24% rise, gaining 3.18 points, and closed at the level of 1,317.40 points.
The benchmark index rose on the back of the banking sector which added 0.47% as Ithmaar and Ahli United Bank (AUB) went up by 3.57% and 0.75%.
The services sector also increased by 0.34% as Batelco rose 1.54%.
On the other hand, the investment sector slipped 0.11% as Al Baraka declined by 1.19%.
Traded volumes reached 1.69 million shares with a total turnover of BHD 461,230, while the market sector closed at nearly BHD 7.97 billion.
