Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Tuesday’s close by 0.22% or 2.64 points to the level of 1,191.34 points.
Trading volume decreased to 889,720 shares from 1.78 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also retreated to BHD 183,500 from BHD 199,220.
The services sector rose 0.6% as BMMI, Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex and Nass leapt by 3.75%, 1.33% and 0.92% respectively.
The investment sector grew 0.46% due to an increase of 4.54% in Al Baraka Group.
The commercial banks sector levelled up 0.03%, backed by a rise of 0.55% in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank fell 1.49%.
Out of eight companies, five stocks, rose, one dropped and the remaining two were flat.
