Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse ended Monday’s trading with a growth of 0.61% or 6.89 points to the level of 1,135.31 points.
Trading volume rose to 1.67 million shares from 1.32 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also increased to BHD 239,000 from BHD 196,110.
The banks sector was the best performer after adding 0.8% as Bahrain Islamic Bank topped gainers with a growth of 8.54%, and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait leapt by 5.26%.
Ahli United Bank made the highest liquidity of BHD 288,050.
The services sector advanced 1.22% as Batelco rose 2.78%, while Nass declined by 4.76%. The latter made the biggest trading volume activity of 996,630 shares.
