Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse declined at Tuesday’s close by 0.65% or 7.70 points to the level of 1,184.42 points.
Trading volume rose to 2.75 million shares from 2.14 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also increased to BHD 438,624 from BHD 285,270.
The investment sector dropped 1.35% due to a 5.7% decline in GFH Group, top loser.
The commercial banks sector fell 0.7% as National Bank of Bahrain shrank 2.13%, Ahli United Bank slid 0.8% and Bahrain Islamic Bank retreated 1.64%.
Meanwhile, the hotel and tourism sector grew by 0.5%, backed by a 0.8% rise in Gulf Hotels.
