Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Monday’s close by 0.04% or 0.47 point to the level of 1,149.39 points.
Trading volume reached 646 shares exchanged at BHD 257,200. The market capitalization amounted to BHD 6.98 billion.
The investment sector grew 1.65%, backed by a rise of 9.38% in GFH Group, best performing stock, and 1.23% in Investcorp. The latter made the highest turnover of BHD 330,500.
Meanwhile, the services sector shrank 1.28% as Bahrain Cinema, Batelco and Trafco declined by 3.1%, 2.1% and 0.8% respectively.
The banks sector also dropped 0.39% as Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait was the worst performing stock after falling by 3.43%.
