Bahrain Bourse closes Sunday in green

Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse ended Sunday’s trading session in the green zone after four consecutive declines.

The main index gained 0.28% or 3.35 points and closed at the level of 1,209.75 points.

The banks sector added 0.85% as Khaleeji Commercial Bank led the session’s gainers and surged by 8.1%, and was the most active in traded volumes with 3.68 million shares.

On the other hand, the industrial sector fell by 0.63%, as Aluminum Bahrain went down 0.66%.

Meanwhile the services sector lost 0.36% on the back of Nass and BATELCO which declined by 0.8% and 0.7% respectively.

Total traded volumes decreased to 7.62 million shares compared to 11.99 million shares on Thursday, while traded values reached BHD 1.01 million down from BHD 1.34 million.
