Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse ended Wednesday’s trading session in a rise, on the back of Ahli United Bank.
The main index gained 0.33% or 3.73 points, closing at the level of 1,142.21 points.
Ahli United Bank was today’s only gainer, adding 2.38%, it also registered the highest turnover at $208,340.
This led to the rise of the banking sector by 0.67%, despite Ithmaar and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait dropping 3.85% and 2.86% respectively.
Total traded volume decreased to 1.88 million shares from 3.89 million last session. Total turnover also shrunk to BHD 297,370 compared to BHD 516,000 on Tuesday.
