Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse ended Wednesday’s trading session in green, rising 0.17% or 2.01 points on the back of investment and banks sector and closed at the level of 1,213.34 points.
The investment sector grew 0.35% as United Gulf Bank led the session’s gainers and surged 2.34%, while banks went up 0.22% as Al Salam Bank increased by 1.89% and was the most active in traded values and volumes with 4.35 million shares and a total turnover of BHD 457,240.
On the other hand, the services sector lost 0.22% as Zain Bahrain was today’s only decliner and dropped 5.66%.
Total traded volumes declined to 6.68 million shares from 7.5 million shares on yesterday’s session, while traded values decreased to BHD 781,260 from BHD 11.461 million on Tuesday.
