Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.02% or 0.23 point to the level of 1,188.35 points.
Trading volume increased to 1.85 million shares from 879,710 shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to BHD 324,800 from BHD 142,830.
The banks sector grew 0.04%, backed by a growth of 1.11% in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, while Al Salam Bank dropped 1%.
Meanwhile, the investment sector fell 0.04% as Bahrain Commercial Facilities declined 0.77%.
Ahli United Bank led the trading activity with a volume of 824,500 shares exchanged at BHD 523,558.
