Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse ended Monday in the green zone, boosted by the investment sector which solely levelled up.
The benchmark index inched up 0.27% or 3.34 points to settle at 1,228.25 points.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Islamic index closed at 812.76 points, losing 0.24% or 1.94 points.
The Investment sector gained 2.96%, backed by Arab Banking Corporation which soared by 9.57%.
Khaleeji Commercial Bank rose by 5%, while the banks sector dropped 0.73% after NBB and AUB fell by 2.1% and 0.72%, respectively.
The industrial sector led the decliners by a drop of 1.02%, after Alba stock retreated 1.06%.
The services sector posted the lowest losses of 0.08%, while Batelco stock remained unchanged.
Market capitalization stood at BHD 7.259 billion ($19.25 billion).
Today’s turnover amounted to around BHD 548,000 ($1.45 million), after nearly 4.26 million shares were traded.
