Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse closed Sunday’s trading with a rise of 0.05% or 0.53 points to the level of 1,157.08 points.
Trading volume increased to 1.73 million shares from 1.45 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also rose to BHD 529,790 from BHD 347,510.
The hotel and tourism grew by 0.51%, backed by an increase of 0.77% in Gulf Hotels.
The banks sector leapt 0.45% as Al Salam Bank topped gainers by adding 1.09% and Ahli United Bank advanced 0.78%. The latter was made the highest liquidity of BHD 117,390.
Meanwhile, the services sector shrank 0.68% as Nass topped the red list after falling by 1.57%.
