Bahrain Bourse closes in red zone

Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse fell at Monday’s close by 0.1% or 1.11 point to the level of 1,130.27 points.

Trading volume fell to 1.12 million shares from 2.204 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also declined to BHD 206,750 from BHD 334,890.

The industrial sector dropped 2.7% as Alba topped the red list with a 2.8% decrease.

The investment sector slid 0.13% due to a 1.05% fall in Al Baraka Group.

On the flipside, the banks sector rose 0.18% as National Bank of Bahrain grew 0.7%.
