Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse ended Tuesday’s session in red as its main idex fell 0.06% or 0.66 point to the level of 1,154.33 points.
Trading volume decreased to 3.64 million shares from 9.25 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover increased to BHD 946,210 from BHD 678,860.
The industrial sector dropped by 2.83%, pressured by a 2.94% fall in Alba.
The insurance sector also shrank by 1.8% as Arab Insurance Group topped losers after falling by 9.68%.
The services and investment sectors declined by 0.15% and 0.13% respectively.
Meanwhile, the banks sector rose alone by 0.49% as Ithmaar Bank topped gainers by adding 4.54%. the stock made the highest trading activity with a volume of 1.57 million shares.
Ahli United Bank made the highest liquidity of BHD 299,000.
