Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse’s main index declined at Wednesday’s close by 0.1% or 1.16 point to the level of 1,208.84 points.
Trading volume decreased to 5.74 million shares from 9.5 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also shrank to BHD 1.53 million from BHD 1.62 million.
The commercial banks sector dropped 0.27% due to a fall of 2.78% in Khaleeji Commercial Bank, the stock made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.75 million shares. Bahrain Islamic Bank dropped 1.61%.
The services sector retreated 0.14% as Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex slid 0.62% and BMMI fell 0.61%.
Meanwhile, the investment sector rose 0.21%, backed by an increase of 3.3% in United Gulf Bank.
