Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.10% or 1.2 point to the level of 1,192.55 points.
Trading volume increased to 3.09 million shares from 889,720 shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also grew to BHD 642,290 from BHD 183,500.
The services sector leapt 0.66% as Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex and Seef Properties levelled up 3.95% and 3.77% respectively, while Nass topped losers after falling by 0.91%.
The hotel and tourism sector grew 0.52%, backed by a rise of 0.79% in Gulf Hotels, and the investment sector advanced 0.11% as Al Baraka Group rose 1.09%.
On the other hand, the commercial banks sector fell 0.08% due to a decrease of 0.69% in National Bank of Bahrain, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank topped gainers by adding 4.5%.
