Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain’s stock market inched down 0.02% or 0.25 to close at 1,189.53 points on Tuesday, while Bahrain Islamic index grew 0.83% or 6.5 points to approach 791.69 points.
The stock market kept its negative trend for the sixth session in a row.
The services sector topped the decliners by losing 0.3%, as Batelco fell by 0.65%.
Similarely, The banks sector retreated 0.02% as AUB declined 0.72%.
The investment sector gained 0.83%, backed by Esterad and Al-Baraka which rose 1.02% and 0.9%, respectively.
Market cap stood at BHD 7.05 billion as compared to BHD 7.051 billion by the end of Monday’s trading session.
Today’s turnover amounted to about BHD 530,410 as 3.37 million shares were exchanged.
