Bahrain Bourse down 0.1% in October

Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse lost 0.10% in October, as the main index closed at the level of 1,148.83 points compared to 1,150 points where it closed in September.

Turnovers totalled BHD 11.4 million with traded volumes of 57.5 million shares.

The banks sector declined 0.76% as Al Salam Bank - Bahrain, United Gulf Bank (UGB), and Khaleeji Commercial Bank went down by 3.3%, 2.06%, and 1.72% respectively.

Meanwhile, the services sector shed 2.11% as Zain Bahrain, and Bahrain Telecom (BATELCO) slid 9.32% and 4.67% respectively.

On the other hand, the industrial sector grew 4.52% as Alba gained 4.73%, while the investment sector added 0.95% as Investcorp rose by 6.58%.
