Bahrain Bourse down 0.27% at close

Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse declined at Monday’s close by 0.27% or 3.2 points to the level of 1,172.73 points.

Trading volume decreased to 1.41 million shares from 1.83 million shares exchanged on Sunday, while turnover increased to BHD 400,460 from BHD 387,300.

The services sector dropped 0.6% due to a 1.89 fall in Seef Properties, the banks commercial sector retreated 0.45% as Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, down 3.8%, topped the red list.

On the other hand, the industrial sector rose alone by 0.62%, backed by an increase of 0.65% in Alba.

Al Salam Bank made the biggest trading activity with a volume of 370,400 shares, while Investcorp made the highest turnover of BHD 202,500.
