Mubsher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse lost 0.97% or 12.9 points, during the week that ended on Thursday 3 August, closing at the level of 1,322.58 points.
Traded volumes decreased to eight million shares down from 13 million shares in the previous week, while values increase by 8.9%, amounting to BHD 2.43 million compared to BHD 2.23 million in the previous week.
The total number of transactions this week reached 246 transactions.
As for the market sectors, banks went down by 1.5%, while services lost 1.2%, and similarly, the investment sector index slipped 0.16%.
Ahly United Bank (AUD) dominated this week’s trade, with a total turnover of BHD 753,000, and traded volumes of 2.8 million shares.
