Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse opened Sunday’s early trades in the green, backed by the rise of Ahli United Bank (AUB) and Bahrain Maritime and Mercantile International (BMMI).
The main index rose 0.2% or 2.29 points to reach 1,146.66 points by 9:58am Bahraini time.
The banks sector rose 0.4% as AUB gained 0.8%. Likewise, the services sector grew 0.07% as BMMI increased 0.6%.
The market saw trading of 65,000 shares through two transactions, with a turnover of BHD 44,270.
